We collect data in a number of ways. We use Google Analytics which gives us insights into where users originate from and to do this Google will store cookies on your device used to view the website. As with all websites basic web Cookies are also used to log sessions on our website. We also save your submitted form information. Please see below.

Why we collect your Data

We want to give you the best possible experience when visting 1stclassfirstaid.co.uk.

The data we hold about you helps us to understand if our website is performing well for you on different devices and guides us in improving the website experience.

We also use data to understand where our customers are coming from so if we choose to advertise we can measure whether it works for us.

In additon, when customers complete an online booking we use your name and address details to process your request and invoice you for your booking.


Contact forms and completed orders

Customers email addresses, name, address and telephone number entered and submitted onto the booking page are retained on a web server which is situated behind a firewall. Booking details are also retained on our office computers which use anti-virus software.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Cookies stored on your computer or device will be used to help understand how you found 1stclassfirstaid.co.uk and if we can understand ways to enhance your shopping experience once on our website.

Our duty and your right to remove your data.

If for any reason there was a data breach of any kind we would advise you straight away. If you would like to remove your data from our webserver and office computers please contact us and we will do so as a matter of urgency.

These guidelines also apply to data that is usually stored electronically but has been printed out for some reason.

When not required, the paper or files should be kept in a locked drawer or filing cabinet.

Employees will make sure paper and printouts are not left where unauthorised people could see them, like on a printer.

Data printouts will be shredded and disposed of securely when no longer required.

Data will be protected by strong passwords that are changed regularly and never shared between employees.

If data is stored on removable media (like a CD or DVD), these will be kept locked away securely when not being used.

Data will only be stored on designated drives and servers, and should only be uploaded to an approved cloud computing service.

Servers containing personal data are sited in a secure location away from general office space.

Data should be backed up frequently.

All servers and computers containing data will be protected by security software and a firewall.
